Jack's Point meanders through tussock encrusted hills, rocky outcrops and native bush, hugging the shores of Lake Wakatipu.
The Remarkables tower over 2,000 metres above you, and so grand is the setting that at times it's hard to just focus on your golf.
When anyone mentions Queenstown golf courses, Jack's Point invariably finds it's way to the top of the list.
It's one of those courses that tempts you back for another game.
Jack's Point has it all. A stunning, testing layout, amazing location and scenery, wonderful facilities, and close proximity to all that Queenstown has to offer.
At the time of writing, Jack's Point offered discounts for repeat games, and if our experience is anything to go by, one game here will not be enough.
Standing on the tee looking down onto a green backed by Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables! It doesn't get any better.

Attached to the Millbrook resort at Arrowtown, the Millbrook course offers golfers a championship 27 hole layout, meandering through rolling countryside, and is overlooked by Coronet Peak, one of our major ski fields.
Home to the New Zealand Open, Millbrook was designed by Sir Bob Charles, and was updated in 2010 by Greg Turner, with the addition of the third nine, known as The Coronet Nine.
In 2020 Millbrook was rated number nine in New Zealand by New Zealand Golf Magazine.
As with all our local courses, photo opportunities are present at every twist and turn of this beautiful course.
With the benefit of first class onsite accommodation, Millbrook is the perfect "stay and play" golfing solution.
And the restaurants, bars and shops of historic Arrowtown are just up the road.
Millbrook offers discounts and packages for golfers staying onsite, so that's something well worth considering.
The Hills is an exclusive member's course, owned by Sir Michael Hill.
But it also offers limited opportunities for visitors to experience one of NZ's best.
The Hills has been host to the New Zealand Open and various New Zealand PGA events, and offers players a challenging golf experience.
In 2020 The Hills was rated New Zealand's third best course by New Zealand Golf Magazine.
Rolling through the hills and rocky outcrops just outside of Arrowtown, The Hills is immaculately maintained, and like our other courses, is a photographers dream.
Art lovers will be impressed by the range of sculptures scattered around the course.

The Queenstown Golf Club (also known as Kelvin Heights), sits proudly on a peninsula surrounded by Lake Wakatipu.
The club was originally established at nearby Frankton in 1915, but was relocated to the current site in 1975.
It's a beautiful club course, and most holes offer players stunning views of the lake and mountains.
The course challenges golfers of all levels with a range of holes that reward good shot making and club selection.
One of our favourites is the short, elevated par 3, 10th hole. Measuring around 109 metres, the hole is protected at the front by a small lake, then drops off to the rear into a forested area. Correct club selection is crucial.
Queenstown was rated number thirty four in New Zealand in 2020 by New Zealand Golf Magazine.
We have always found this to be a very friendly club, with an onsite cafe and bar for your after golf relaxation.
It's definitely one of our favourite Queenstown golf courses.

This hidden gem is well worth a visit. Rated as one of the Top 10 courses in New Zealand, and by Golf.com as one of the World's "Top 25 Short Courses", Arrowtown should be high on your list.
Nine holes were opened on the current site in 1936, with a second nine added in 1971.
The course winds it's way through the hills and combines lots of mature trees, native tussocks, and historic ruins, all set to our customary backdrop of towering peaks. Bring your camera.

Why not make a day of it, and visit Wanaka.
Around one hours drive from Queenstown, via the Crown Range, Wanaka Golf Club offers 18 holes, overlooking Lake Wanaka. As you can see from the pictures below, it's hard to concentrate on your golf with those views distracting you.
In 2020 Wanaka was rated number thirty seven in NZ by New Zealand Golf Magazine.
The front nine overlooks the lake whilst the back nine has a more park like setting with glorious mountain views.
The club house has a bar and cafe, and it's a great spot to relax after your round.
